Auburn Chamber to host inaugural Women in Business lunch April 24

Description

The Auburn Chamber will host the inaugural Women in Business lunch on April 24 at 11 :30 a.m. at The Hotel at Auburn University. Presented by Three Sixty {real estate}, the event is an opportunity for women in the business community to connect, celebrate women in leadership and hear one woman’s inspiring leadership journey.

Major General Sheryl E. Gordon, the first woman to serve as adjutant general of the Alabama National Guard, will deliver the keynote address, and one outstanding woman will be awarded for her success in business.

“Auburn has a strong tradition of women in important community-impacting leadership roles ; we wanted to create an event that would celebrate that tradition, inspire others who might be on that path and encourage women in our community to support one another,” said Lolly Steiner, president of the Auburn Chamber.

Seats for the event are $40 and table sponsorships are $400 (includes two seats). To RSVP, contact Anna Hovey, director of programs and special events, by April 17 at anna@auburnchamber.com. The program is also sponsored by Alabama Power, AuburnBank, River Bank & Trust and Wells Fargo.
