Dear Chamber Members,
The chamber board and staff hope that you and your families are safe and healthy. We also hope that you have found the Auburn Chamber of Commerce to be a consistent and reliable source of information during this crisis.
While it is encouraging to hear talk of the economy opening back up in some way sometime soon, it is also sobering when you consider the myriad of things to take into account when doing so. As things move forward, we are actively working to play an important part in the economic recovery of the Auburn area and in your business.
Here are two resources available through the Auburn Chamber:
Leadership
The chamber board and staff are well informed through careful study of crisis related material and daily conversations with state and local officials. The chamber also has broad and relevant connections throughout this community and beyond. The chamber is eager to answer questions, make connections when needed, and serve as a resource through your recovery and beyond.
COVID-19 Updates
The chamber has been providing daily up-to-date stimulus and recovery information relevant to small/medium businesses. These updates are housed at the chamber’s website and can be accessed by clicking here. The website is also a resource for community members, as a list of restaurant and retail chamber members can be found. We hope this a useful tool for community members when deciding where to eat and shop. Webinars and videos are being developed that will be available soon and include local, expert resources that many of you know and trust.
Additionally, a survey is being developed that will help us provide more meaningful assistance. The survey is around 10 questions and will allow for open-ended feedback. The survey will be sent to you on Monday, April 20. Your responses are important in understanding the resources and best practices needed as the next steps in the recovery of this crisis become more evident. As soon as you receive the survey, please take a few minutes to complete it.
The Auburn Chamber is the voice of the business community, and we will continue to provide resources and leadership to help create a thriving business environment. We are here for you through the duration of this crisis and upcoming recovery. We are truly honored to serve you and ask that you reach out to us at any time.
In your service,
Rod Cater
