Lieutenant Governor Will Ainsworth and the Small Business Emergency Task Force have submitted recommendations to Governor Kay Ivey and state health officer Dr. Scott Harris on getting businesses in Alabama back open.
This committee has requested some businesses such as retail, restaurants, close contact services and childcare open immediately under strict guidelines.
Other businesses such as health services, entertainment venues, gym facilities and beaches have been recommended to open by May 1, with strict guidelines to follow.
