The Annual Meeting brings the membership together to reflect on the past year, plan for the year to come, and award those who have contributed to the success of both the Chamber and the community. This is the Auburn Chamber’s largest event.

In partnership with Auburn University’s Student Government Association, AU10 is a discount program created to encourage Auburn University students to shop locally and support local businesses. Participating businesses offer a 10% discount at the point of sale (excluding the sale of alcohol) when students show their Auburn University student ID.

The Auburn Young Professionals program is open to employees of Auburn Chamber members ages 21-40. The program emphasizes professional development, community service, and social engagement.

This annual event is an opportunity for the community to gather together for a time of fellowship, reflection, and prayer. Clergy from a number of denominations offer blessings over different aspects of the community.

This event is an abbreviated business seminar to start an attendees day over coffee. A featured speaker will explore a timely, relevant business topic.

This program recognizes a member (business or individual) who displays excellent customer service. An award and certificate are presented to one winner each quarter.

Diplomats serve as the Chamber’s core group of volunteers. They welcome new members at ribbon cuttings, act as hosts at events and programs, assist with staying in touch with our members, and do the behind-the-scenes work that helps make events run smoothly. Contact Crystal McKelvy if interested.

Each year, the Auburn Chamber invites a panel of local entrepreneurs to share their experiences and advice with local high school students during an on-site lunch presentation.

The Industry Appreciation Event is a celebration to thank industry partners who continually invest in Auburn. The entire membership is invited to attend.

Through Shop Local Dine Local, community members are encouraged to shop and dine local for the holidays for a chance to win one of ten amazing prizes! There are two themes—retail and food & beverage.

To show special appreciation to the Auburn Public Safety Department for keeping our homes and businesses safe and making Auburn a better place to live, work, and play—the Auburn Chamber will host a meal for them during July 4th and Thanksgiving.

This program recognizes new Auburn Chamber members! A special gift is hand-delivered to each new member to welcome them to the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.

Citizens are always encouraged to shop in Auburn first and keep tax dollars in the local economy, but a special ShopAuburn campaign is held during the holiday season with an opportunity for businesses to participate and the community to win prizes.

In the spring of each year, the Chamber will take nominations and then host a community-wide vote for the Best of Small Business in four categories and Retailer of the Year. The selected winners will receive an award.

Every year a new class of honorees is inducted into the Tiger Trail during the Tiger Trail induction ceremony. Each inductee is honored with an engraved granite plaque to be placed in the sidewalk of downtown Auburn among the plaques of other Auburn greats.

Eight months out of the year, the Auburn Chamber invites a different speaker from the community to address the membership. This program is designed to keep members informed and educated about community issues and challenges, and updated on progress and successes. Questions are encouraged.
