Restaurant Server: Full-time and Part-time (a.m. or p.m. shift)

  • $3.25 per hour + gratuities 
  • Varried days and varried hours 
  • Previous serving experience or very strong customer service experience is preferred.
  • Individuals who apply must be hard works and able to work well with others in a fast pace environment. 
  • Individuals must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. 
  • Individuals must have excellent communication skills. 
  • Smiling is a must. 

 

Restaurant Server Assistant: Full-time (1) a.m. or part-time (2)

  • $8.40 per hour + gratuities 
  • This individual should be able to perform a combination of duties in an efficient, quiet and effictive manner, which facilitates food service and therby provides a positive impression for the guest.    
  • This individual will maintain the breakfast and lunch buffet, assist servers in cleaning and resetting tables, assisting guests with drink refills and assisting with bread service and food running. 
  • This individual is responsible for in-room dining orders being taken to hotel guests. 
  • Any combiniation of education, training or  experience that provides the required knowledge. skills and abilities. Grade school edication is preferred.     

In-Room Dining Server: (1) Part-time 

  • $8.40 per hour + gratuities 
  • Varied days and varied hours. 
  • Previous in-room dining serving experience is required. 
  • Individuals must be able to lift and carry object weighing up to 30 pounds of food and/or beverage. 

Cocktail Server: Part-time (1) 

  • $3.25 per hour + gratuities 
  • Varied days and varied hours 
  • This individual will assist in keeping the bar and lounge area stocked, clean, and organized. Assisting with serving alcoholic and non-alcholic to the patrons of the bar, following standard recipes will also be a responsibility for this position. 
  • Individuals must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular and continuing basis (inlcuding beverage items). 
  • These tasks should be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. 

Wine Steward: Full-time (1) 

  • $8.40 per hour 
  • Varied days and varied hours 
  • This individual will oversee Ariccia's and Piccolo's wine list by working closely with patrons and advices them according to their personal needs (taste, food and wine pairing, the occasion or budget). 
  • The individual wine manage the wine list, coordinate wine tasting with vendors, coordinate wine training with staff and ensures quarterly and yearly financial goals are met. 
  • Previous experience is a plus. 

Barista: Full-time (1) 

  • $10 per hour + gratuities 
  • Varied days and varied hours 
  • Prior hospitality and/or barista experience preferred. 
  • The barista is responsibilities include:
    • Serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer by taking orders and making coffee, tea and other specialty beverages to customer specifications.
    • Operate Pointe of Sale System, handle cash transacations and work with cred card machines. 
    • Often clean the coffee machines, restaurant areas and preparation areas during a normal shift. 
    • Educating customers about the premium coffee and tea available. 
  • The barista may field customer complaints or questions. 
  • Baristas work to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all food and beverage. 
  • The barista will fulfill any other duties the retaurant manager, assitant manager or supervisor assigns. 
  • Represents HC Valentine and The Hotel at Auburn University in a professional manner. 

Bartender: Part-time (1)

  • $8.25 per hour + gratuities 
  • Varied days and varied hours 
  • Previous bartending experience is required. 
  • Must be able to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons following standard recipes. 
  • Must possess basic math skills necessary to understand recipes.  

Restaurant Manager 

  • Varied days and varied hours. 
  • The restaurant manger directs and organizes the staff of Ariccia Cucina, Piccolo 241 Cocktail Lounge, H.C. Valentine, in-room dining and execuitve floor lounge to ensure first class service, food and beverage offerings and marketing to maximize profits and guest satisfaction.
