The Hotel at Auburn University is hiring a full-time sales coordinator. This position will make $12.35 per hour and will work mostly Monday-Friday. If business warrants, it might require this indivudal to work on the weekends.
This position will act as a liaison between the sales and catering managers and clients in the absence of the manager.

- Assisting managers in all facets of sales and catering process, from solicitation of sale to service of event while in-house.
- Being available to assist guests with requests and questions.
- Answering the telephone and responding to inquiries in a professional and appropriate manner.
- Handling mail, copying, creating and maintaining files, organizing departmental documents and files on a daily basis to maintain essential organization standards.
- Assisting in special projects as assigned.
- Takes booking inquiry information via phone and prepares and distributes proper paperwork.
- Excellent telephone skills and manners.
- Ability to interact with fellow employees and clients of the hotel, both via phone and in person.
