What we do
celebrate // connect // educate // inform // promote
The Auburn Chamber is a dynamic, member-driven organization dedicated to making Auburn a better place to do business. Every chamber has a different look, personality, and set of benefits, but, in short, a chamber of commerce is the hub of the business community. The voice. The source of information. The place (in both a literal and figurative sense) to make connections, form partnerships, and deepen ties. The helping hand. The community cheerleader. A chamber of commerce is where businesses go to be part of the bigger picture.
If you look inside our doors on any given day, you’ll see seven very busy, dedicated staff members putting together the pieces of events and producing publications to showcase the business community and bring people together, providing information to help our members do business, celebrating accomplishments and milestones, building educational programs, meeting with business and community leaders, or creating opportunities for members to connect, meet one another, and get plugged in.
However, the success of our work depends on YOU. The Auburn Chamber is a membership organization that belongs to the members. Show up, pitch in, listen, give an opinion, connect, plug in. The community we’re building is yours, and our village takes a village.
— CELEBRATE —
We take our celebration responsibilities very seriously. We’re your biggest fans! We love gathering to celebrate a business opening, recognizing the wealth of talent in our community at our annual meeting, or surprising a community gem with a Customer Service Crown.

— CONNECT —
Connecting people and creating productive, community-strengthening partnerships are at the core of what we do. We are the hub of the business community. Whether it’s attending events, identifying and connecting with other members on social media, hosting an event or serving as a diplomat, there are limitless opportunities to find new customers, create new business partnerships and strengthen community ties. And having the benefit of a bird’s eye view of the business community, we’re always playing matchmaker; we refer and connect our members daily.
— EDUCATE —
The Auburn Chamber offers a number of professional development opportunities for members to take advantage of right here at home. No hotel or travel fees required! For more information on our events and programs, click here.
— INFORM —
Whether it’s details about the upcoming local election or information about the next concert coming to the Plains, we believe an informed business community is a stronger, more engaged community. We send a weekly e-newsletter and emails as needed. You’ll also find a chamber and community calendar on our website.
— PROMOTE —
